Free Topic: Internet Meme
What is an Internet Meme?
It is basically a concept be it a drawing or a video or music that went viral on the internet and it has been adopted as part of our internet culture.
One of the most famous Internet Meme is a music video by a band called Lonely Island, "Like a Boss".

Another example would be the Tumblr Faces where the infamous Troll and LOL face resides. ;)
And another in a form of a song:
This guy, Antoine Dodson was resident of the Lincoln Park in Alabama whose interview on local television became an Internet sensation and resulted in an Auto-Tuned song with The Gregory Brothers that has sold thousands of copies on iTunes and appeared on the Billboard Hot 100 list. The interview that propelled Dodson into fame was prompted by the report of a house intrusion and attempted rape of his sister Kelly Dodson. I think the reason why he caught people's attention was because of his passionate and flamboyant style of his delivery, speaking directly to the camera, in which he directly addressed the people of his neighborhood as well as threatening the would-be rapist. The video has more than 79 million hits on youtube!! :DDD
I think internet meme is fun and it shapes the culture of the internet along with lingos and acronym. It sure redefined how we communicate in real life as well. :)
